We are doing it again! After the success of our Play In Portugal ReTreat in September, we can’t wait to get back to Portugal and do it again in 2016!

Join Jennifer Moore (Health Coach, Health Foods Chef, Yoga and SUP Yoga Teacher) and Natalie Fox (Yoga and SUP Yoga Teacher, Surf Instructor) for 6 days of play in beautiful Ericeira, Portugal!  Our Play in Portugal Retreat June 5-10, is about having fun and playing in  your edges and all sides of yourself.  We will do yoga, eat healthy breakfasts and lunches, but we will also enjoy a post surf sun down drink or a glass of wine at dinner, if you feel like it.  

Play in Portugal is about being present in all the sides of yourself and embracing them.  You can be your green smoothie drinking yoga girl, and also embrace your barefoot beach babe who likes a beer after a day in the water!  It’s all good! We aren’t looking for perfection in Portugal, we are looking for playful fun, and trying new things with new friends! We’ve taken everything we love and rolled it into 6 days of fun in the sun!

  • 8 Yoga Classes over the 6 days, taught by Jenn or Natalie.  Some days we will have 2 classes with a vinyasa flow class in the morning and a more restorative evening class, for example. Open to all levels. 
  • 5 Surf Lessons: includes wetsuits, boards, and instruction.  This is the perfect place to learn to surf! You will be taught by local, professional  surf instructors with a bunch of girls around you who are also learning in this safe, supportive environment! We are lucky to have a big wave rider and 3 time Portugese National Long Board Champion as our instructors!  These guys know their stuff when it comes to surf!
  • 1 Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga session, including SUP rental.
  • 1 Stand Up Paddle Board Tour
  • Daily healthy breakfasts and lunches prepared by Jenn.

  • 3 dinners are included and 2 are out on your own so you can have a chance to explore some local specialties.
  • 5 nights accommodation in a beautiful house with sea views on the beach front.
  • Airport transfers.
  • 2 Afternoon excursions: A visit to the beautiful town of Cascais, for an evening Stand Up Paddle, exploring, shopping and dinner.  Optional daytrip Lisbon for some cultural fun and shopping if you’ve had enough of the sun. 
  • Unlimited tea, coffee, and fresh fruit.
  • Daily free time to spend as you choose. You might read and relax on the balcony of the beautiful house where we are staying overlooking the beach or use the time to work on your tan at the beach.

WOW WOW! You have got to retreat yourself, my Play in Portugal experience was just the best time I have had for myself in a very longtime, as a woman I put pressure on myself to be all singing all dance to everyone but me.I would truly recommend this experience, meeting new friends, trying out new experiences in beautiful places.  Bless you both Jenn and Natalie – love Nicola xxx

Jenn and Nat’s Portugal retreat was a much needed haven from the hustle and bustle of my normal busy life. It provided a perfect balance of yoga, surfing, paddle boarding, relaxation time and opportunities to explore some of the local towns. The beautiful surf house with its wonderful views contributed to the relaxed feel of this trip and Jenn’s wonderfully tasty cooking fed my body and my soul.

I thought the house was amazing. Beautiful views and a great chilled out vibe. I thought it was comfortable and clean and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Surfing was my favourite bit of the retreat and I was so happy that we got to go everyday. Although I don’t have much experience of surf lessons, I thought the team were excellent. Having mainly practiced Vinyasa yoga, I really enjoyed the exposure to the different types, like yin and partner yoga. I loved that there were pretty much two classes a day, I certainly needed to stretch after the surfing! I think the fact I didn’t know anyone going on the retreat made me feel apprehensive, but I was also excited about meeting new people. As we all mentioned at the end of the retreat I think we were lucky with what a lovely bunch of ladies took part and how well we all got along. A fantastic experience, which I will keep smiling about for a long time! – Stephanie Edge


Jenn and Natalie became friends in Jersey, where Natalie taught Jenn to surf, they attended each other’s yoga classes and shared teaching the islands only SUP yoga classes.  Jenn is a health coach, health food chef, yoga + SUP yoga teacher.  Natalie is a surf instructor, yoga + SUP yoga instructor, as well as an environmental activist.  Learn more about Natalie on her website.   We can’t wait to get to Portugal so we can play, play, play! 


You are welcome to take part in all the activities on offer, but everything is optional. If you’d prefer to lounge at the pool, shop, get a massage, do more yoga or go read your book at a cafe with a coffee, you are free to make this retreat YOUR OWN. This is your time to ReTreat Yourself!

What if I am coming on my own?

Amazing and well done you for having a sense of adventure to come on your own! There are single room options available or we can try to pair you up with another single traveller to share a room.

What if I haven´t done yoga before, will I be ok?

I think you will enjoy the retreat more if you do some yoga before coming.  Start doing it now- go to class, do videos at home between now and the retreat.  I don’t recommend showing up to the retreat in March never having done yoga. And, remember, everything is optional, so if yoga isn’t your thing and you’d rather sleep in- it’s up to you!

Do I have to participate in all the activities?

Nope, it’s totally up to you! You do whatever will make your experience the best for you. 

Is this a detox or cleanse retreat?

No, it isn’t.  You can eat and drink as much as you like on this retreat.  Breakfast is included everyday and lunch is also included most days and will consist of a healthy option.  You will have some dinners on your own, where you can try the great culinary delights of Bali, so it will be up to you what you want to eat.  Maybe you will be trying out the health food scene, or maybe you will be looking for the best cocktail in town!
