Join me this October for 5 luxury days of daily yoga, adventures like cycling and trekking, culture, amazing food, sprinkled with relaxation!  We will explore the city of Marrkech and more, by bike and foot and see all the best that it and the surrounding areas has to offer!  I can’t wait for you to experience this magical city that will tickle all your senses! 


WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • 5 nights accommodation in a beautiful riad with a pool.
  • Airport transfers to and from the resort.
  • Transfers to all activities
  • 5 daily breakfast

  • 4 dinners including a special welcome and closing dinner.
  • 5 Yoga Classes, taught by Jenn. Some days we will have do a more flowing vinyasa class and on other days we may do a more restorative class, for example as post trekking recovery. Open to all levels, no experience needed. 
  • Spa time! Spend time relaxing and being massaged or trying the traditional hammam at a luxury spa.
  • 1 Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains for hiking, exploring, visiting local villages, markets and a Berber lunch. 
  • 1 Half Day Guided Tour of Marrkech that will take us to all the main sights and leave you with some free time for souk shopping at the end. 

  • 1 Guided Night Tour of the Medina so you can see just how the locals do it. 
  • 1 Half Day Bike Tour which cycles through various neighborhoods of Marrkech, visits a local bathhouse, public bakery, and various city highlights.  It’s a super fun way to visit the city, learn about the local culture and get some exercise. This non-profit organisation we bike with also provides jobs for local youth as guides. 
  • *Optional Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride.  *This is not included in the retreat, as not everyone loves heights, but if you want to include this in your trip, let me know and I will get you booked in. If you don’t want to do a Balloon Ride, no problem, you can enjoy the pool and relax or we can organise a transfer to the city for you to explore or anything else you might want to do with this free morning. 
  • Daily free time to spend as you choose. You might read and relax by the pool, or hide away in the various beautiful spaces on the resort property sipping on mint tea. 
  • And more, let’s keep a few things for surprises!

Adventure time and lunch! This could be a biking tour of the city, exploring the souks, hiking, hot air ballooning, followed by something yummy to eat!

Free Time

(snoozing, exploring, hiding in one of the many nooks of our riad with a book, taking a dip in the pool or soaking in some sun on the terrace with a cold drink.)

Head into the Medina for an evening guided tour of the souk, and try lots of local delights!

Delicious dinner in a beautiful location

Rest your tired head in bed!

You don’t like to be with groups of people

We will be spending time together, you need to want to make new friends and soak up this time with other amazing women.  That being said, I also appreciate that we all need space for there will be daily free time where you can get some space. 

 
You are afraid to try new foods, aren’t interested in new cultures, people and experiences

 It can be overwhelming at first when you show up to a new place, but my hope is that you will embrace the food, culture and people. If you do, you will leave with a smile on your face. Please know there will always be healthy food options available and catering to vegetarian is not a problem! 

 

 
 You just want to lay by the pool and tan

This trip is for squeezing the most out of each day and making the most of your time in away.  If you love to be active, try new things, but still have daily time to chill- this is perfect for you.  

 
You are looking for a detox, cleanse, juicing or weight loss retreat

Nope, this isn’t it.  We are going to eat, we are going to have a beer or cocktail if we feel like it and we will definitely not be going hungry. There will always be healthy options available and catering for food allergies and preferences isn’t a problem.

I’m a health coach, health food chef, yoga + SUP yoga teacher. I love leading awesome active adventure escapes all over the world.  I love squeezing the most out of every day and I make sure we do that on all my adventures.   I love in no particular order: strong coffee, really dark chocolate, baby waves, floating my yoga, being sandy, salty and sun kissed at the end of the day. FAQs

What if I am coming on my own?

Amazing and well done you for having a sense of adventure to come on your own! I can pair you up with another single traveller to share a twin room.  Don’t worry, you won’t be the only one who has come on their own, I always have lots of solo travellers come along. Plus you know me!

What if I haven´t done yoga before, will I be ok?

I think you will enjoy the retreat more if you do some yoga before coming.  Start doing it now- go to class, do videos at home between now and the retreat.  But at the same time, don’t stress -the yoga will be for all levels and abilities.  And, remember, everything is optional, so if yoga isn’t your thing and you’d rather sleep in- it’s up to you!  

Do I have to participate in all the activities?

Nope, it’s totally up to you! You do whatever will make your experience the best for you. 

Is this a detox or cleanse retreat?

No, it isn’t.  You can eat and drink as much as you like.  Breakfast is included everyday. Lunch and dinner is included most days.  You will have a couple meals that aren’t included, where you are free to eat wherever you like and can try the great culinary delights around, so it will be up to you what you want to eat.
