Join me for 5 nights in a gorgeous tree house on the edge of the Indian Ocean in Kenya!  The retreat will be a blend of daily yoga on land, yoga on stand up paddle boards, paddle board excursions on the ocean, down mangrove lined creeks, at sunrise, sunset, moonrise and more!

You will eat delicious vegetarian/vegan food during the trip, relax on the beach or by the pool between adventures, get a massage, snorkel, do some seva (the yoga of being of service) in the community and take some time out to focus and nurture you, in what couldn’t be a more beautiful location.


WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • 5 nights open air accommodation.  Fall asleep and wake up to sea breezes with nature everywhere you look! Check out the pics below of the house and rooms.
  • 3 vegetarian/ vegan meals and a daily snack.  You will not go hungry and will nourish your cells with so much fresh goodness!  Think: Fresh juices, green drinks, fresh fruit, coconut yogurt, healthy pancakes, avocado toast, salads, soups, fresh coconuts and more.
  • 6 yoga classes in an open air studio with beach views and on the beach with our toes in the sand.  We will do various kinds of yoga everyday from vinyasa to restorative and sometimes we will have class in morning and in the evening. The yoga is for all levels and experiences, including beginners.
  • 3 stand up paddle board yoga classes, floating on the Indian Ocean.

  • 1 stand up paddle full moon float which I really don’t want to tell you too much about, except that it includes supping thru mangroves to a deserted beach for breakfast under the full moon!
  • Seva: we will go do yoga in the community and give back.
  • 1 massage because you have to treat yourself on retreat.
  • Beach and forest nature walks
  • Daily free time to chill and relax by the pool, on the beach or in the shady nooks of the house. 
  • All transfers to activities and tips and gratuities.

You don’t like to be with groups of people

We will be spending time together, you need to want to make new friends and soak up this time with other amazing women/men.  That being said, I also appreciate that we all need space for there will be daily free time where you can get some space. 

 
You are afraid to try new foods, aren’t interested in new cultures, people and experiences

 It can be overwhelming at first when you show up to a new place, but my hope is that you will embrace the food, culture and people. If you do, you will leave with a smile on your face. Please know there will always be healthy food options available and catering to vegetarian is not a problem! 

 

 
 You just want to lay by the pool and tan

This trip is for squeezing the most out of each day and making the most of your time away.  If you love to be active, try new things, but still have daily time to chill- this is perfect for you.  

 

You are looking for a detox, cleanse, juicing or weight loss retreat

Nope, this isn’t it.  We are going to eat and we will definitely not be going hungry. There will always be healthy options available and catering for food allergies and preferences isn’t a problem. 

FAQs

What if I am coming on my own?

Amazing and well done you for having a sense of adventure to come on your own!  Don’t worry, you won’t be the only one who has come on their own, I always have lots of solo travellers come along. Plus you know me!  If you want to share a room with someone, I can pair you up, or you can go for the single pier tent option.

What if I haven´t done yoga before, will I be ok?

I think you will enjoy the retreat more if you do some yoga before coming.  Start doing it now- go to class, do videos at home between now and the retreat.  But at the same time, don’t stress -the yoga will be for all levels and abilities.  And, remember, everything is optional, so if yoga isn’t your thing and you’d rather sleep in- it’s up to you!  

Do I have to participate in all the activities?

Nope, it’s totally up to you! You do whatever will make your experience the best for you. 

Is this a detox or cleanse retreat?

No, it isn’t.  You will eat plenty of healthy goodness!
