Bali Escape is my dream.  I’ve taken all my favorite things about Bali and rolled it into an amazing active trip of a lifetime! I asked myself, if I could create my perfect dream vacation, what would it include?  This is the result!  An active trip, sprinkled with yoga, surf, massages, pool time, relaxation, daily exercise, culture, fun and adventure, oh and food- don’t forget the food! Throw some sunset cocktails into the mix and it’s a dream! 

 

During this escape you will treat yourself with massages and spa treatments, yoga, daily fresh coconuts, relaxing by the pool, enjoying a day at a private beach club and enjoying gorgeous food, but you will also treat yourself to fun and adventure with surf lessons, trying new types of yoga, bike riding through villages, exploring a waterfall temple, and immersing yourself in Balinese culture.  

 

You will split your time in Bali by spending the first 5 nights in Ubud, in a beautiful hotel surrounded by beautiful rice paddies soaking up this healing, yoga centric town and then you will head to the coast for the last 4 nights where you will enjoy private accommodation near the beach.  After your time in Bali you will feel relaxed, refreshed and revitalized having enjoyed this treat of a lifetime for yourself!

Deposit

A deposit is required to reserve your space.  The remaining payment can be paid in full or by a payment plan. If you would like to come to Bali, please contact me as soon as possible so we can secure your space as spaces are limited and this trip has sold out each time.  I have to turn people away who wait until the last minute each year, I hate doing it, but when the retreat is full, it’s full.

*Airfare to Denpasar Airport in Bali is not included. I can recommend flights and put you in touch with a travel buddy if you don’t want to travel on your own.  We will also have a private retreat Facebook group where you can “meet” other retreat attendees and organise travel together.

We will be spending A LOT of time together, you need to want to make new friends and soak up this time with other amazing like minded women.

 
You are afraid to try new foods, aren’t interested in new cultures, people and experiences

Everything in Bali will be new to you. It can be overwhelming at first when you show up to a new place, but my hope is that you will embrace the Balinese food, culture and people. If you do, you will leave with a Bali smile on your face and understand why I keep coming back here. Please know there will always be healthy food options available and catering to vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc is not a problem! 

 

You are looking for a detox, cleanse, juicing or weight loss retreat

Nope, this isn’t it.  We are going to eat, we are going to have a beer or cocktail if we feel like it and we will definitely not be going hungry. You can drink a green juice everyday if you want, but it won’t be all you are having.  There will always be healthy options available and catering for food allergies and preferences isn’t a problem. 

You are deathly afraid of bugs

We will be staying in locations surrounded by nature, you will see bugs.  They won’t hurt you. 

 

You just want to lay by the pool and work on your tan

This retreat is for squeezing the most out of each day and making the most of your time in Bali.  If you love to be active, try new things, see and do exciting stuff- this is perfect for you. 

 

You need to blow dry your hair, wear tons of makeup and high heels everyday, all day

It’s Bali, it’s hot. You will have Bali beachy hair, there’s no point in blow-drying. Your makeup will melt off and you will break your neck in the pot holes trying to walk in heels.  The daily get up is super casual, that being said we will go out for some nice dinners where you can do your hair and paint your face. 

FAQs

You are welcome to take part in all the activities on offer, but everything is optional. If you’d prefer to lounge at the pool, shop, get a massage, do more yoga or go read your book at a cafe with a coffee, you are free to make this retreat YOUR OWN. This is your time.

What if I am coming on my own?

Amazing and well done you for having a sense of adventure to come on your own! There are single room options available or I can try to pair you up with another single traveller to share a room.

What if I haven´t done yoga before, will I be ok?

I think you will enjoy the retreat more if you do some yoga before coming.  Start doing it now- go to class, do videos at home between now and the retreat.  I don’t recommend showing up to the retreat in March never having done yoga. And, remember, everything is optional, so if yoga isn’t your thing and you’d rather sleep in- it’s up to you!

Do I have to participate in all the activities?

Nope, it’s totally up to you! You do whatever will make your experience the best for you. 

Is this a detox or cleanse retreat?

No, it isn’t.  You can eat and drink as much as you like on this retreat.  Breakfast is included everyday. Lunch and dinner is included most days and will consist of a healthy option, that is mainly ordered by you a la carte.  You will have a couple meals that aren’t included, where you are free to eat wherever you like and can try the great culinary delights of Bali, so it will be up to you what you want to eat.  Maybe you will be trying out the health food scene, or maybe you will be looking for the best cocktail in town!
