This recipe will take your summer smoothies into the autumn by adding seasonal ingredients. The addition of ginger and cinnamon, along with some healthy fats are perfect ways to support your body and immune system as we enter the colder months.

Autumn Green Smoothie
  1. 1/2 banana, fresh or frozen, peeled
  2. 1/2 an avocado
  3. 1 cup fresh baby spinach
  4. 1 inch piece of ginger or about 1 teaspoon of fresh grated ginger
  5. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  6. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  7. 1 tablespoon chia
  8. 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  9. 1 cup coconut water
  10. 1/2 cup water or more if want smoothie thinner
  1. Combine ingredients in blender, and blend until smooth.
  2. Adjust liquid if needed for desired consistency.
